Over the last few years, I've become increasingly interested in how different facets of my upbringing and background manifest in my personality. As I continue to live relatively far from where I grew up, the cultural and vernacular differences of each region become more apparent. With distance from the people and places that have heavily influenced my identity, I find myself drawn to the once familiar. In this series I revisit places of personal significance, and attempt to capture the seemingly banal environments with a newfound appreciation, only making my transition from local to tourist more apparent.
