Medium Festival of Photography

I had the pleasure of reviewing portfolios for Fraction at the Medium Festival of Photography in San Diego last weekend. It was great to see so much amazing photography, meet people from different walks of life, and connect with members of the photo community. I'm looking forward to continuing to build relationships with the many awesome folks that I met. Thanks again to Scott Davis and his team for including Fraction!

Feature on Mall Pretzel

I'm super excited to have one of my images featured on Mall Pretzel – a rotating online photography gallery that might have the best name I've ever heard. They show a wide range of photographic work and I'm grateful have snuck an image in amongst the work of many talented photographers. Show Mall Pretzel some love and check them out!

Volley at Art Obscura Gallery

I am so excited to see work from my series, Volley, back up on the gallery walls! I was invited by the wonderful Art Obscura Gallery in Las Cruces, New Mexico to show a selection of the work. Deret Roberts and Abbey Carver run Art Obscura – a totally rad and unique space, with two full galleries and a section of selected antiques. Please be sure to pay them a visit, whether you see my show or not – they are great people and are working hard to propel the art scene in southern New Mexico. Volley will run through March and into the first week of April.

Composite Photography Workshop at DACC

I will be teaching a 3 day workshop at Doña Ana Community College this July. The workshop is open to anyone, not just students, although students at DACC or New Mexico State University can receive 1 credit for it. It's gonna be really fun, sign up if you're interested!

Solo Show "Volley" in Albuquerque

My MFA Thesis Exhibition, Volley, will open Friday, April 3rd, and run until April 13th, at the 5G Gallery in Albuquerque. I'm very excited to see all of the large pieces up together, feel free to stop by if you are in the area!

Connectivity

I have two pieces from my series Keystones in Connectivity, the Graduate Juried Show at the University of New Mexico Art Museum. Juror James Ballinger, The Sybil Harrington Director of the Phoenix Art Museum selected work from 20 of our diverse group of graduate students. The Museum has a total of 5 new exhibitions on view through May 23rd.
